§ Mr. STANTONasked the Minister of National Service if he is aware that upon the local tribunals throughout the country a number of persons who are locally notoriously unsympathetic to the War have in some manner got upon such tribunals; that favour is shown by these people to anyone who pleads conscientious objection; and if he will move in such a manner that the tribunals may be rid of such persons?
§ Mr. HAYES FISHERI have been asked to answer this question. I am not aware that the facts are as stated. If it is clearly shown that any member of a tribunal is not acting in an impartial manner, I can assure my hon. Friend that I am quite prepared to consider the question of his removal from the tribunal.
