§ Mr. KINGasked the Home Secretary whether the War Office or any Department, or person in the War Office has communicated with the Juvenile Organisations Committee of the Home Office suggesting co-operation in getting Boy Scout formations, boys' clubs, and other boys' societies to join the Cadet Corps movement and take 1256W on a more military character; and, if so, on what terms and with what objects has this been done?
§ Sir G. CAVENo such communication has been made. The War Office and the Juvenile Organisations Committee, while desirous of encouraging the Cadet Corps movement as a means of character training, are agreed that care should be taken not to interfere with the work of such organisations as Boy Brigades, Boy Scouts, and clubs.
