§ Mr. ANDERSONasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer why the Treasury has not replied to the offer of 27th April of the Conciliation Arbitration Board to hear the claim of the Federation of Women Civil Servants for increased pay; and why it is proposed to introduce a new grade of women clerks at a salary of £140–£180 a year when there are 900 skilled second-class clerks stationary at £110 and 200 first-class clerks stationary at £140?
