§ Mr. RAWLINSONasked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether he is aware that many members of the Volunteer forces have not been provided with uniforms; whether this is largely due to the fact that by an Army Council instruction the grant promised to the Volunteers, part of which is represented by uniform, is not made in respect of any man of military age who has not more than three months' exemption from military service; and what would be the position of such men if mobilised against an invasion of this country?
