§ Mr. ILLINGWORTHTemporary postmen do not receive a separate allowance for boots. The wages paid are regarded as covering any necessary expenditure for footwear, and it is not proposed to alter this arrangement. Temporary full-time postmen, however, and, within certain limits, part-time postmen are provided with uniform.
