HC Deb 21 February 1918 vol 103 cc939-40W
Captain Sir BEVILLE STANIER

asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether he is aware that 800 tons of manure have been taken by rail from Prees Camp, in Shropshire, to Essex; whether this manure could have been sold locally and thereby saved the railway journey; and whether this manure can now be offered for sale to the local people?

Mr. FORSTER

I am making inquiries, and will communicate with my hon. and gallant Friend as soon as I am in a position to do so.
