HC Deb 21 February 1918 vol 103 c928W
Mr. JOWETT

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food if he is aware that the price of tinned meat has risen enormously, and that there has been profiteering in tinned meat in consequence of the scarcity of fresh meat; and if he has taken any action to protect the public in the matter and, if so, what action?
