§ Mr. T. RICHARDSONasked the Home Secretary whether he has reconsidered the case of R. C. Wallhead, who was sentenced at Neath under the Defence of the Realm Act; and whether he can now see his way to remit some portion of the punishment inflicted?
§ Sir G. CAVEWallhead has completed the first of two sentences of two months' imprisonment, and as he has petitioned expressing his regret for having made the false statement complained of and undertaking not to repeat the offence, I have felt justified in advising the remission of the second term of imprisonment. He has accordingly been released.
