CAVENDISH - BENTINCKasked the Secretary to the Board of Trade whether the Board have authorised the payment of a bonus to all employeés on the inside and outside staffs of the waterways companies now controlled by the Midland Area Canal Control Committee; what is the weekly amount of the bonus and from what date payment was authorised; whether the Board are satisfied that the full amount due, in accordance with their instructions, has been paid by the companies to all employeés; if not, whether the Board will immediately take steps to secure the payment of all such amounts as have not been paid; and whether he will instruct the companies under its control to exhibit in a prominent place a notice of what bonus is due so that their employeés may know to what they are entitled?
