HC Deb 14 February 1918 vol 103 c288W
Mr. R. MACDONALD

asked the Undersecretary of State for War whether Orders have been issued at the Ledbury Camp, near Chepstow, that no men are to hold converse with German prisoners working there; whether, in accordance with these Orders, two men refused to go amongst the prisoners in search of missing tools and to question the prisoners regarding them; whether, in consequence, the men were court-martialled and sentenced to forty-two days' detention in a military prison; and whether the War Office proposes to intervene in the matter?

Mr. MACPHERSON

If my hon. Friend will give the numbers, names, and units of the soldiers concerned, the matter will be considered.
