§ Mr. MUNROWhat I stated in my previous reply to my hon. Friend on this subject was that I was hopeful that the more pressing needs of the situation can be met by administrative action. In making this statement I had in view the provision. of a certain number of houses by the Ministry of Munitions. Action has been taken in this direction in Lanarkshire and elsewhere. On the question of legislation I am unable for the moment to add to the reply which I gave on the 16th January to my right lion. Friend the Member for Berwickshire.
