Mr. NUGENTasked the Postmaster-General whether a memorial signed on behalf of the service organisations was received as far back as December last claiming increased allowances for men employed in travelling post offices; whether the claim is a reasonable one; and, if so, what is delaying a decision in the matter?

Member for South Islington, which was to the effect that the matter has not been overlooked and that my right hon. Friend hopes to be in a position to make an announcement shortly.
