§ Colonel YATEasked the Secretary to the Treasury whether, considering that officers in receipt of wound pensions are specially exempted from the deductions levied from the retired pay of officers who accept any civil employment under any public Department, he will now alter the rules under Section 6 of the Superannuation Act of 1887 by adding the words "and disability" after the word wounds at the end of Section 1 (a)?
§ Mr. BALDWINI am advised that there is no power to amend the rules, otherwise than by obtaining fresh powers from Parliament.
