Dickes, a conscientious objector, was ordered to do rifle drill as a punishment for riding a bicycle without a light, and that, as a result of his refusal to perform the same, he was sentenced to a term of military detention on 19th September, 1917, at Eridge, Kent; and whether such punishment, being contrary to Army Order X., has received the sanction of the War Office?
