HC Deb 21 November 1917 vol 99 c1201W
Mr. MARRIOTT

asked how many of the officers at present commanding Territorial regiments in India have been recommended by the military authorities in India for honourable mention, as compared with the number of officers so mentioned commanding Regular regiments?

Mr. MACPHERSON

No names have so far been brought to notice by the military authorities in India for valuable services rendered in connection with the War, to which my hon. Friend presumably refers as " honourable mention." The names of officers and others mentioned for distinguished service in the field during operations in India and Aden will be found in the dispatch of General Duff published in the " London Gazette " on 4th July, 1916, and in that of General Monro gazetted on 31st October, 1917.
