HC Deb 21 November 1917 vol 99 c1194W
Sir HENRY HARRIS

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will state the address to which applications for compensation under the Government scheme for air-raid damage should be sent?

Mr. WARDLE

My right hon. Friend has asked me to answer this question. I am sending the hon. Member a pamphlet describing the air-raid compensation scheme, and he will see that in the case of uninsured property applications have to be addressed to the Air Raid Compensation Committee, Palmerston House, Old Broad Street. In the case of property insured under the Government scheme, immediate notice should be given to the office through which the insurance was effected.
