§ Mr. OUTHWAITEasked the Minister of Reconstruction whether the proposals for land reform, advocated by the Prime Minister in 1913, are being considered with a view to conditions after the War; and whether their adoption or modification will be proposed?
§ Dr. ADDISONThe proposals made in 1913 by the late and the present Prime Minister are under consideration. Certain of these proposals—for example, a minimum wage for agricultural labourers—have in a modified form already become law. I am not in a position to say, at present, how many of the others will be adopted or in what way they will be modified.
