§ Mr. LOUGHasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food what amount of reduction in the wholesale price of Danish butter has been effected by the new order; whether the change involves any charge on the Exchequer; and, if so, at what sum he estimates the monthly amount?
§ Mr. CLYNESOn and after the 13th November the importers' first-hand price for Danish butter will be 229s. per cwt. export. The amount of the reduction will consequently vary according to the price previously paid by individual importers. The change involves no charge on the exchequer.
