Mr. ROBERTSThe Board of Trade have received representations as to the effect on the fruit and vegetable trade of the requirement that the charges for the conveyance of such traffic by passenger train must be prepaid. These representations have been very carefully considered, but in all the present circumstances I am afraid it is necessary to adhere to the proposal.
