HC Deb 21 March 1917 vol 91 c1942W
Mr. KELLY

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland what are the present fares on local trains which do not carry mails for the journey from Carlisle Pier to Kingstown Station; and, in view of the fact that the distance is about 20 perches, will he ascertain if the new fares are approved of by the Irish Railway Committee?

Mr. DUKE

Local trains are not run to Carlisle Pier. They run only to Kingstown Station. The question of the fares charged on the mail trains to Carlisle Pier has not been before the Irish Railway Executive Committee.
