§ Mr. BUTCHERasked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether he will consider the desirability of issuing silver badges to men who have been on active service abroad and have returned to this country wounded, and have been transferred to the W Reserve?
§ Mr. MACPHERSONI would refer my hon. and learned Friend to the reply given on 1st November to the hon. Member for the College Division of Glasgow. The badge is only awarded to those who are permanently unfit for any further military service, and its issue cannot therefore be extended to Class W Reservists, who are liable to be recalled to the Colours at any time.
