§ Mr. MACPHERSONYes, Sir. I would refer my hon. Friend to General Monro's and to General Milne's dispatches, which he will find in the "London Gazettes" of 10th April and 6th December of last year. No records are kept by units or formations either of the recommendations made by the Commanders-in-Chief in the field for reward, or of foreign decorations. The question of leave rests with the discretion of the Commander-in-Chief, who I am sure will give all facilities possible, as far as the military exigencies will allow.
