§ Mr. HOHLERasked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether, in view of the fact that men in categories A and B are required for service in the Army, he is aware that quite recently twelve men fit for general service were still employed at No. 2 General Hospital, London, in occupations as dispensers, linen storekeepers, and orderly room clerks; will he ascertain how many men of these categories are employed in similar positions in military hospitals throughout the United Kingdom; and will he take the necessary steps to see that these men are released for service without loss of time, and representations made in the right quarters to fill their places with women?
§ Mr. MACPHERSONThe release of men in categories A and B from general hospitals has been proceeding steadily for some considerable time, and it is expected that these men will all be released shortly.
