asked the Secretary for Scotland what are the most recent figures of the numbers of medical students (men and women respectively) attending Scottish universities as compared with the number in the year before the War?

Mr. MUNRO

I am informed that the figures are, approximately, as follows:—In the year before the War, 2,367 men and 236 women; in the present year, 1,510 men and 696 women.
