HC Deb 27 February 1917 vol 90 c1859W
Mr. BOLAND

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether, with a view to securing increased food production in Ireland and to enable fanners to scare crows and other destructive pests from newly-sown wheat lands, facilities will be given to farmers to obtain the necessary cartridges?

Mr. DUKE

The Department of Agriculture are of opinion that there is no necessity for the use of cartridges for the particular purpose indicated.
