§ Mr. JOWETTasked the Under-Secretary of State for War if he is aware that the regulations relating to detention barracks have been withdrawn from sale to the public; whether he will state the reason of this prohibition; and whether he will undertake that persons in litigation with the authorities for alleged ill-treatment at detention barracks shall be supplied with copies of these regulations for the purposes of preparing their cases for trial?
§ Mr. MACPHERSONThese regulations have not hitherto been placed on sale, as there has not been sufficient demand for them to warrant this being done. Any Member, however, who applies to the War Office for a copy will be supplied with one.
