§ Mr. MACPHERSONThe answer to the first part of my hon. and learned Friend's question is in the affirmative. The question is now being considered as to what extent more miners can be spared for military service, having in mind the requirements of coal for ourselves and our Allies. Pending this consideration it is not possible to give an answer to the last part of the question.
