Public notice was given that the latest date fixed for the presenting of claims was 12th August, 1916, but any case subsequently notified, in which a satisfactory explanation of the delay was furnished, was accepted and dealt with.
§ Mr. BYRNEasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland if the Gaelic League, 25, Parnell Square, Dublin, applied for compensation for losses sustained during the rebellion in 1916; if he is aware that the Gaelic League is a non-political and non-sectarian organisation devoted solely to 1849W the interests of the Irish language movement; and what the Government's proposals are in reference to the claim?
