HC Deb 19 April 1917 vol 92 cc1871-2W
Mr. GULLAND

asked the Minister of Munitions, as representing the Central Control Board (Liquor Traffic) how many of the male employés of the Board at Annan are of military age?

Mr. KELLAWAY

In Annan the Board have twenty-seven male and eighty-four female employés. Of the twenty-seven males, eight are of military age. Five of these have been either medically rejected, classed in C2 (or lower), or discharged from the Army as unfit; one is a Creole and is not liable for military service. The remaining two hold responsible managerial positions.

Mr. GULLAND

asked the Minister of Munitions, as representing the Central Control Board (Liquor Traffic), when the Board will publish a Report with a financial statement of last year's work at Annan?

Mr. KELLAWAY

I understand that it is hoped to publish a Report on the Board's work at Annan very shortly. No separate accounts will be compiled for Annan. The receipts and expenditure for the period ended 31st March, 1917, will be included in the accounts for the Gretna district, which will be incorporated, in due course, in the general account of the Board for inclusion in the Appropriation Account of the Vote of Credit for the year 1916–17.
