§ Mr. ROWLANDSasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that the ingredient of the old iron ration which led to its condemnation many months ago is now being distributed to military hospitals throughout the country as a substitute for beef tea, much to the detriment of those who have the consumption of it; and whether he proposes to take any action in the matter?
§ Mr. FORSTERA certain quantity of Oxo cubes which used to form part of the iron ration, but which had never actually been packed in the rations, have been used up in military hospitals willing to take them. The cubes were all in good condition,' and no complaints have been received.
