§ The PRIME MINISTERWith regard to the first part of the question I am aware that the proposal to adopt the metric system has a certain measure of support, but it is difficult to say how far this is general. The answer to the second part of the question is in the negative. With regard to the last part I understand that the attention of Lord Balfour of Burleigh's Committee has already been directed to this subject
