§ Mr. FORSTERThere is a great variety of rates of pay now in force in the Army Service Corps owing to the different terms which had to be offered at the beginning of the War to secure the necessary number of men skilled in the different trades. Men are not now being enlisted at these special rates, but it would be a breach of faith to modify the rates of pay of those already enlisted.
