§ Mr. ACLANDThe production of wheat in the United Kingdom in 1914 and 1915 was 7,804,041 and 9,239,355 quarters respectively. The Board have not yet received the figures of production in Scotland and Ireland in 1916, and I am therefore only able to give that for England and Wales, which is 6,942,559 quarters. For comparison, I add the figures of wheat production in England and Wales in 1914 and 1915, which were 7,307,036 quarters and 8,464,741 quarters, respectively.
