HC Deb 21 November 1916 vol 87 c1265W
Mr. SHEEHY

asked the Postmaster-General the cost of continuing the day mail service to Athboy, considering that the train which brings the mail to Trim passes by Athboy, only seven miles farther on, could take a mail bag to Athboy; and, that the cost therefore would be small, will he meet the requirements of the inhabitants by restoring the service?

Mr. J. PEASE

I am sorry my inquiries are not yet complete, but I will write to the hon. Member within the next few days.
