WHITEasked the Secretary of State for War whether complaints have reached him that parcels of cigarettes, 1024W stationery, home-made bread, and comfortable clothing, such as shirts, socks, and scarves, sent to Private Christopher Lyons, No. 15,999, 10th Platoon, F Company, 1st Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers, 86th Brigade, 29th Division, British Expeditionary Force, France, by his relatives in Ireland, carefully packed and prepaid, have never reached him; and whether he will institute inquiries into the hardship inflicted on this soldier in the fighting line by the non-delivery of those comforts from home?
