HC Deb 02 November 1916 vol 86 c1855W
Mr. CROOKS

asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether he has received any complaints as to the conditions in which the soldiers at Pennington Camp have to sleep; and whether he will make inquiries into the matter and take steps to secure that the soldiers are adequately protected from the danger arising from lying on wet soil?

Mr. FORSTER

No, Sir; I have received no complaints, but I am having the case inquired into, and, if found necessary, steps will be taken to remedy matters.
