HC Deb 11 May 1916 vol 82 c927W
Mr. R. McNEILL

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether passports are required by passengers for Ireland; and, if so, will he say how and where the necessary passports are to be obtained?

Mr. TENNANT

British subjects do not require passports to travel between England and Ireland. Aliens have to obtain a permit, which is stamped on the National Passport, and may be obtained at 19, Bedford Square or the Military Control Office, Liverpool.
