HC Deb 14 March 1916 vol 80 c1912W
Mr. SNOWDEN

asked the Secretary to the Admiralty what action he proposes to take in the case of a man named Moorhead, who has for the last eight years been employed in filling shells at Bull Point Depot and who attested under the Derby scheme and who, when called up, was told by the naval ordnance store officer that he could go, but when, after medical examination, Moorhead was sent back until he might be needed for garrison duty, he was not allowed to restart work at Bull Point depot?

Dr. MACNAMARA

Moorhead was not refused work at Bull Point, and arrangements were made locally for him to start work on 13th instant.
