MARKHAMasked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that there are already in Switzerland over 1,000 French prisoners of war in ill-health drawn from Germany, and a similar number of German prisoners of war drawn from France, who have been removed to Switzerland under a reciprocal arrangement between France and Germany; is he aware that there is no single British prisoner of war in Switzerland under any such arrangement; and can he state why it has not been possible to make between. Great Britain and Germany such a reciprocal arrangement for the alleviation of the lot of prisoners of war on both sides as has been made and carried into effect between France and Germany?
