HC Deb 09 March 1916 vol 80 c1738W
Mr. ASTOR

asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office how many applications for pensions for men discharged from the Army as permanently unfit or disabled before the end of 1915 and before the end of January, 1916, respectively, are still being considered by the Chelsea Commissioners?

Mr. FORSTER

The numbers are 198 and 284, respectively. The delays are due to the necessity of calling for further evidence.
