§ Mr. DUFFYasked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that the licensed premises of merchants in the town of Gort, county Galway, have been closed by the military since the 20th May; is he aware that Gort has neither a military camp nor station, nor industrial works of any kind, class, or description that might call for action of this kind on the part of the military; and, having regard to the fact that all the licensed traders of Gort carry on a general composite business in bread, flour, tea, sugar, bacon, etc., will he, in the interest 38W of the people of the town and the district, direct the military authorities to give permission to the traders to resume business as formerly?
