§ Mr. PROTHEROasked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether a man 904W who has been dismissed from the military forces whilst holding a temporary commission will be enlisted as a private soldier under the provisions of the Military Service Act; and whether a man who has been dismissed from the military forces will be enlisted under the provisions of the Military Service Act?
§ Mr. TENNANTIf the man is a man to whom the Military Service Act would apply, he is liable to the provisions of the Act in both of the cases mentioned by my hon. Friend. If such a man had been dismissed for disgraceful reasons, it would be a matter for consideration by the military authorities whether he should be called upon to take his place again in His Majesty's Army.
