§ Mr. LONGThe Elections and Registration Act, 1915, provided for payment being made in respect of work done before the 1st August, 1915, for the purpose of the preparation of the registers in that year, and also made provision for the certification of expenditure thus incurred. Figures showing the approximate total cost of the work are not yet available.
