§ Mr. FELLasked the President of the Board of Trade if his attention has been called to the fact that the greater part of the rice consumed in India and Burmah is husked by the cultivators and is not polished; and that high polished rice such as is used in this country is not consumed; and, if so, if he will prohibit the polishing of rice in this country and turn the mills and their workmen to some useful occupation?
