§ Sir G. CAVEI would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the announcement on the subject which appeared on Monday in the Press. It is not proposed to appoint any specified days as public holidays in place of the postponed Whit-sun and August Bank Holidays, but subject to certain exceptions employers who have not already given equivalent holidays in lieu will be required to do so before the 1st of March next. In the case902W of munition workers, special arrangements which have already been announced have been made by the Ministry of Munitions.
