Mr. NUGENTasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether he will cause further inquiries to be made into the case of an old age pensioner named Patrick Bradley, Moyard, Draperstown, county Derry, whose pension had been fixed at 3s. per week, with a view to having the maximum pension allowed him as the recipient is eighty years of age and has no other source of income, and is dependent upon his relatives for his support?
§ Mr. DUKEThe Local Government Board made careful local inquiry as to this man's means on two occasions, the last being in June of this year, and as a result they were not satisfied that his means entitle him to a higher pension than 3s. a week. The case is not now before the Board.
