§ Mr. SNOWDENasked the Attorney-General if something can be done to relieve the congestion in the poor persons department of the Divorce Court, in view of the seriousness of the results through the delay which now takes place in obtaining the decision?
§ Sir F. SMITHI am informed there is no delay either in the department of the prescribed officer or in the Divorce Registry in connection with the applications of poor persons. If a number of cases have not proceeded to trial, it is because the applicants have not met the out-of-pocket expenses.
