HC Deb 04 December 1916 vol 88 cc667-8W
Sir J. AGG-GARDNER

asked why an officer who has relinquished his commission after several years of service and is still of military age should be compelled to re-enter the Army through the ranks, notwithstanding the facts that other Departments, such as the Army Pay, are open to him, and that he has been medically rejected for active service?

Mr. FORSTER

I am afraid that I cannot answer this question without further details of the particular case in question. If my hon. Friend cares to furnish me with them, I will have inquiries made.
