§ Mr. DUKEDaniel Ronayne was convicted at Waterford Petty Sessions on 21st July of using language prejudicial to recruiting and sentenced to one month's imprisonment, with hard labour. A resolution of the Dungarvan Urban District Council, in favour of the remission of the sentence, was laid before the Lords Justices, who decided that the law should take its course.
