Mr. T. WILSONasked the Minister of Munitions if he has had a complaint from the Swansea Building Trades Federation to the effect that an increase of wage granted to the workmen in the building trades in Swansea owing to the increased cost of living is not being paid to these workmen when employed in controlled establishments in that district, although in normal times an increase of wage in the building trade means an increase of wage to the men employed on similar work in those establishments; and will he give instructions that the increase shall be paid on this occasion?

§ Dr. ADDISONA complaint on this subject was received by the Ministry. I understand, however, that the question has now been reported to the Board of Trade under Part I. of the Munitions of War Act, and will be settled by arbitration thereunder.
